Hina has more than 20 years’ experience in post-death matters and in safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable clients. She advises on tax, trusts and the administration of estates including applying for probate, Letters of Administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Hina is also a Professional Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection to manage the personal affairs of mentally incapacitated clients and regularly represents clients and their families at Court of Protection hearings.

Hina’s experience also extends to drawing up wills and codicils, advising on the appointment of executors and guardians, specific legacies, creating life interests, and rights of occupancy. She regularly advises clients on their tax positions and other liabilities, particularly nil rate band legacies and how to protect estates from inheritance tax and any potential claims. Hina's work has an international flavour too - she helps arrange for foreign grants of representation to be resealed in the UK. She is fluent in Gujarati.
