Gillhams are proud to announce that from April 1st 2015, we will be offering fixed rate fees* for our Court of Protection Mediation Service.

Russell Caller, Managing Partner and Court of Protection Mediation specialist commented,

“Each month our Mediation service for Court of Protection disputes receives a steady flow of enquiries – from family members or the deputy of an incapacitated person  – because they find themselves locked into an entrenched conflict over what’s in the ‘best interest’ of that person – and they can’t find a way forward. On top of that the Court is increasingly referring these matters to Mediation to resolve the conflict.

We’re quite sure that Mediation for these kinds of disputes is here to stay. So in line with this projected upswing in enquiries, we’ve decided to offer a clear and straight-forward fee structure to assist people to get all the information they need to decide whether Mediation is right for them..“

If you or someone you know is struggling to resolve a dispute over what is in the ‘best interests’ of an incapacitated  family member please take a look at our Mediation Service for Court of Protection disputes for more information and for details of our new fixed-rate fees.
