We are delighted to announce that three Gillhams’ partners – Russell Caller, Hina Tailor and Chris Poxamatis – have just been confirmed as members of the newly re-configured Office of the Public Guardian Panel (OPG) of Professional Deputies.
As members of the former Panel, this is a wonderful re-endorsement of Russell and Hina’s expertise and knowledge in the field of legal services and support for vulnerable and mentally incapacitated clients. We are also extremely pleased that Chris Poxamatis has been appointed to the Panel for the first time.
With three Panel approved professional deputies now in place, Gillhams, along with only one other firm, claims the highest number of OPG panel-appointed deputies across England & Wales. Russell, Hina and Chris join an additional 65 re-appointed and newly appointed deputies across the country, with only eleven in total appointed from the London area.
Bearing in mind our relative size, we believe our firms selection to fill three spots on the Panel confirms Gillhams as a respected authority on Court of Protection matters.
