Russell Caller, managing partner at Gillhams and Court of Protection panel-appointed Professional Deputy recently published an article in the New Law Journal discussing the benefits of Mediation for settling entrenched Court of Protection ‘best interests’ disputes.

Russell, an experienced Court of Protection mediator, is a strong advocate for using Mediation to deal with situations where there is conflict between family members or with social care providers over what is in the ‘best interests’ of a mentally incapacitated person. We are very pleased that such an eminent legal publication as the New Law Journal agrees that this is a newsworthy and relevant topic for legal professionals working in this area.
