Christopher Poxamatis

Partner and Director of Court of Protection Services

A specialist in advising individuals, Chris has an easy manner and great sensitivity which lends itself well to handling clients’ personal affairs.
Chris deals with wills, tax planning, lasting powers of attorney, estate administration and trusts.

Chris is also a Professional Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection to manage the personal affairs of mentally incapacitated clients. In this role, he regularly represents his clients and their families at Court of Protection hearings and provides ongoing management of their estates and their affairs in conjunction with family members.

Chris graduated from Cambridge in 2001 with a math-based degree and qualified as a solicitor in 2007. He has been a partner at Gillhams since 2010.
