Lucy Horn

Lucy is an Associate Solicitor who joined Gillhams in January 2021 and works in our well-regarded Court of Protection team.

In her role, Lucy assists the Panel Deputies appointed by the Court of Protection to manage the property and financial affairs of vulnerable clients who lack the capacity to do so. This includes preparing for Court of Protection hearings and assisting in the general management of clients' estates, alongside family members.

Prior to joining Gillhams, Lucy was a caseworker and later a trainee solicitor at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. During her time there, Lucy worked in the Court of Protection department, where she focused on health and welfare matters, and also gained experience in public law and immigration law.

Lucy graduated from Bristol University in 2015 with a BSc in Politics. Lucy went on to achieve a Distinction in both her Graduate Diploma in Law and LPC LLM in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Law.
