Russell Caller / Solicitor
Russell has been a solicitor for over 25 years and is the Managing Partner of Gillhams. He carries out a significant amount of probate and trust work and specialises in particular in looking after the legal needs of the elderly and those with mental incapacity. Russell lectures on the legal aspects of mental incapacity including Lasting Powers of Attorney. For a number of years, Russell has been a Panel Deputy for the Court of Protection and manages the affairs of over 50 clients.
In addition, Russell has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in company and commercial law. He is an accredited mediator and assists the legal process in resolving disputes through mutual facilitation and mediation. Russell is the General Editor of a book entitled "ADR and Commercial Disputes". Russell spearheaded Gillhams drive towards the Investor In People and the Lexcel Accreditations which Gillhams has held continuously since 2004.
Russell currently chairs Ealing Homes which is an arms length management organisation for the management and maintenance for leaseholders and tenants in the London Borough of Ealing.
Russell also sits as an Assistant Deputy Coroner for the East London Jurisdiction.

Legal Expertise
Russell acts on private client matters, including discretionary trusts, wills, administration of estates and legal disputes and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. He has also advised and acts for a large number of clients under lasting powers of attorney and court of protection orders
Russell acts on commercial and company matters, including purchase and sale of companies, joint ventures, business process and infrastructure outsourcing, distributorships and franchise agreements. He has advised on major government infrastructure projects, public works and complex mergers of government agencies. He has also advised his clients on enterprise initiative schemes; management buyouts, company formations of groups of companies, shareholders agreements and employee share option schemes.
