Hina qualified as a Solicitor in 1989 and apart from a short break between 1994 –1996, whilst looking after her small children, she has always been involved in private client work specialising in the preparation of Wills, Codicils, Tax Planning, Lifetime Trusts and Administration of Estates including applying for Probate and Letters of Administration.

Legal Expertise

Hina advises on the preparation and execution of wills and codicils including advice on the appointment of executors and guardians, specific legacies, creating life interests, rights of occupancy, nil rate band legacies, protecting estates from potential claims and inheritance tax. Hina also advises on home made wills and on the prospects of contesting improperly drafted wills. In addition, Hina manages our participation under the Law Society Will Aid Scheme.

Hina has vast experience in Probate matters and has assisted a significant number of personal representatives in administering estates.

Hina also advises on intestacy matters and deeds of variation and has assisted a number of clients in arranging for foreign grants of representation to be resealed in the UK.

The firm carries out a significant amount of work for patients suffering from mental incapacity.  The firm is authorised to look after the Property and Affairs of these vulnerable people by Order of the Court of Protection. Hina is responsible for the day to day management of the personal affairs of many clients who are not able to deal with matters themselves. Hina also provides advice on lasting powers of attorney for clients who are no longer able to look after their own affairs.
