Remuneration means payment in money or money’s worth for services performed whether as an employee or as a consultant (otherwise known as a freelancer or a contractor). Also remuneration may be referred to as an emolument, reward or recompense for services rendered or work performed.
Usage: The employee was paid their remuneration on the first day of the month.
