Term: remuneration

Remuneration means payment in money or money’s worth for services performed whether as an employee or as a consultant (otherwise known as a freelancer). Also, emolument, reward or recompense for services rendered or work done.

Usage: The employee was paid their remuneration om the first day of the month.
