A film for the purposes of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 UK is a recording on any medium, from which movement may be produced: s .

A film must consist of more than one image frame.  Single frames that do not form part of a film may be protected as a photograph or a graphic work.

Usage: The film in the form of a .wmv file qualified for copyright protection.
