Term: umbrella agreement
1.
An umbrella agreement is a contract entered into between a supplier of goods or services and a customer which sets out the framework of the legal relationship in order facilitate large numbers of orders and usually exclusivity of supply on the part of the customer. See Framework Agreement.
Usage: The umbrella agreement for the supply of goods had a term of 5 years.
